Demetrious Johnson wins the ONE Championship belt With a flying knee KO
Demetrious Johnson is one of the best at what he does. MMA usually applies, but Friday was about revenge, too.
At ONE on Prime Video 1, the former UFC flyweight champion knocked opponent Adrian Moraes unconscious with an incredible flying knee strike.
Moraes won the flyweight belt over Johnson at ONE on TNT 1 last April with a knee to the head and a barrage of strikes in the second round.
Johnson struck again in the fourth round, leaving no doubt. This alternate angle shows Moraes' head's brutal impact during the fight.
Johnson won the ONE flyweight grand prix in 2019, but this is his first time holding the belt.
He holds the UFC record for consecutive title defenses with 11 before losing to Henry Cejudo in 2018.
Johnson has an overall career record of 31-4-1. It will be interesting to see how long this reign lasts.
