Sunday Night Football tonight will wrap up the Christmas Day games with a showdown in the desert. Although there won’t be any snow in sight, there should be some fireworks nonetheless. Who is playing tonight, what time does the game start, and how can you watch it?
Teams
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-8) vs. Arizona Cardinals (4-10)
Location
State Farm Stadium, Glendale
Sunday Night Football tonight will feature the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they travel to Glendale, Arizona, to take on the Cardinals. Both of these teams have severely underperformed based on offseason expectations, but the Buccaneers have somehow still managed to remain atop the terrible NFC South.
The Cardinals, on the other hand, have already been eliminated from playoff contention, are reportedly going to be letting go of their general manager, will likely need a new head coach, and have lost their starting quarterback to a serious injury that will keep him sidelined for most of next season as well. It is easy to see that Arizona is in a dark place right now.

And now, the cherry on the cake, Kyler Murray’s backup, Colt McCoy, will also miss time due to a concussion. That means it will be third-string QB Trace McSorely taking over as the starter when Tom Brady and the Bucs come to town.
In a game that literally means nothing for Arizona and everything for Tampa Bay, it is hard to see how this one will remain competitive. Luckily, if the game is out of hand early, we can all turn off our TVs and spend a bit more time with family on Christmas (right?).
